Company Info

Experience

Y Lolfa was established in 1967 as a new Welsh printing and publishing company, combing adventurous publishing with a commercial print service using new technologies. The company has followed a policy of printing its work in-house, leading to an investment in modern presses and finishing equipment. This means we’re small enough to give print customers the detailed attention they need and big enough to turn large orders around quickly. The company employs twenty full-time staff.

Best for Books

We specialise in short to medium run books (1-5,000 copies) which we print on our specialist 2-colour B2 perfecting press or our B2 5-colour Lithrone -- or digitally on our new Xerox Versant 180 press.

Top quality

Our 5-colour Komori Lithrone offers superb print quality, and can tackle leaflets, reports, stationery, magazines and brochures in runs of up to 1/2 million -- which we deliver for customers all over Wales.

Bilingual skills

Our editors and designers know how to produce attractive bilingual work; we also offer a low-cost Welsh/English translation service.

It's all in-house

This means we can micro-control all aspects of a job, from design to print to finishing: there’s nothing to go wrong.
